Utilizing our 10.5-ounce light-ounce denim named LAST RESORT Ao-Tag (Blue Tag) - a textile we poured immense energy into developing - we have faithfully resurrected a legendary pair of WWII-era overalls. To develop this denim, we completely disassembled a vintage 1940s Lee chore coat, analyzing the yarns and referencing surviving mid-century artifacts to achieve that exact same distinctive vertical fading profile. Every single trimming and accessory attached to our source reference - a pristine, deadstock pair of WWII "House Mark" overalls - has been meticulously reproduced, demonstrating our uncompromising commitment to the original labels and flashers.

While pocket flashers were traditionally crafted from paper, we specially manufactured ours using a durable non-woven fabric designed to resist tearing when washed, and the vintage-style Union Ticket tucked inside the pocket is executed via a continuous single-needle stitch. The shoulder strap adjusters, suspension buttons, and waist buttons have all been realistically reproduced using authentic laurel leaf iron hardware. Even the snap buttons securing the bib pockets were custom-engineered from raw iron exclusively to satisfy the strict historical requirements of this specific model.

The sewing construction adds further refinement by alternating between white and black threads; executing the front fly, shoulder straps, and hems in sharp black thread delivers a more grounded, sophisticated impression of adult workwear compared to standard all-white stitching. The garment is cut with a slightly wider, more generous silhouette, allowing you to fully appreciate the relaxed drape of classic heritage work apparel.

As you wear these overalls over time, the three distinct thread weights woven into the slub yarns will gradually reveal themselves, allowing you to enjoy beautiful, irregular vertical fading lines that evolve uniquely to your body.
