JELADO 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket [AG73417]

We have faithfully reproduced designs from vintage pieces that, despite being from minor brands, boast interesting details. For this piece, we developed JELADO original horsehide and named it "Gaucho." It uses European horsehide (horse butt leather) that is approximately 1.2-1.3mm thick and fully vegetable-tanned. The leather has a unique feel, achieved by lightly sanding the grain surface of fine-fibered horse front leather, tanned in a pit, resulting in a scuffed finish. Lightly scuffing the grain creates a supple texture and allows you to enjoy the leather's changing pull-up effect. Because it deeply absorbs water and oils, this leather constantly changes in appearance. When friction is applied to the surface, the leather changes as if it has been burned. Both the black and mocha brown are finished with dyes, allowing you to appreciate the leather's characteristics even more. A characteristic of full vegetable tanning is that as you use it, the oils within the leather come to the surface, increasing its luster, and the leather itself becomes plumper and more voluminous. As it is a simple sports jacket, you can enjoy the aging of the leather even more, making it a leather jacket that can be cherished for a long time. To make it simple and easy to wear, the lining is not quilted but made of black cupra material, resulting in a leather jacket that can be worn year-round.
