The new 24/7 (Twenty Four Seven) is released from BASIC COLLECTION.
JELADO will be releasing a 1930s style sports jacket for the first time.
The name was chosen with the hope that the bag would be worn to the nines, just like a convenience store that's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This design is inspired by a vintage piece from a minor brand with interesting details. It's crafted from approximately 1.6mm thick horsehide, tanned with a combination (chrome and tannin) technique. After chrome tanning, the leather is rinsed off and re-tanned with tannin, bringing out the best in the tannins, creating a rich leather feel and enhancing the wear-in experience. The base was dyed a light brown, then sprayed black using a hill dyeing process at a long-established Tokyo finishing factory. This is what's known as brown-core leather. To enhance the black, we used a semi-aniline finish, combining pigment and dye in equal parts. After dyeing, the leather is beaten dry to bring out its unique texture. The dye that colors the base and the pigment that forms the top coat match perfectly, resulting in a beautiful patina with wear. The leather is softer than 100% pigment leather, and because it has a thin coating, the color of the base will quickly show through as you wear it.
To make it simple and easy to wear, the lining is not quilted but made of black cupra, making it a leather jacket that can be worn in spring.
