JELADO 1942s Smoker Shirt Plum [AG61101]

JELADO BASIC COLLECTION is finally re-releasing the "mountain pocket" shirt, revised in design and dimensions as the 1942 SMOKER SHIRTS.
We named it after the design for which a patent was filed in 1942.
It's a simplified version of a regular cigarette pocket, without a flap.
As seen in vintage pieces from that era, we've reproduced the rare style where the cuffs are completely detached.

The fabric is 100% cotton, using a tone-on-tone discharge reactive dye check. This check fabric is dyed with reactive dyes that are designed to fade beautifully over time.
This shirt will fade with each wear, allowing you to enjoy its aging process.

The design is based on the "BIG YANK" mountain pocket shirts from the 1930s.
The buttons are also those used in old work shirts, featuring a diamond shape within a circle.
The gusset features a selvedge run-off.
Because cotton thread is used for sewing, when washed and tumble-dried, the threads will tighten, creating stronger puckering and fading effects around the shoulders and arms.
The fit is sleek, with moderately slim arms, allowing for a neat appearance.
