JELADO 1942s Smoker Shirt Black【AG61101】

The "Mountain Pocket Shirt," which has been absent from the JELADO BASIC COLLECTION for some time, is now being re-released as the 1942 SMOKER SHIRTS, with revised designs and dimensions.
We named it after the design for which a patent was applied in 1942.
It's a simplified version of a regular cigarette pocket, without a flap.
As seen in vintage pieces from that era, we've reproduced the unusual design where the cuffs are completely detached.

The fabric used is 100% cotton, featuring a similar-toned reactive discharge print check. We've tailored this shirt using a check fabric that has been dyed with reactive dyes, allowing for aging and fading over time.
This shirt will fade with each wear, allowing you to enjoy its aging process.

The design is based on the "BIG YANK" mountain pocket shirts from the 1930s.
The buttons used are also those found on old work shirts, featuring a diamond shape within a circle.
The gusset is made with selvedge fabric and a run-off stitch (karakan) specification.
If cotton thread is used for sewing, the threads will tighten even more when washed or tumble-dried, resulting in stronger puckering (atari) on the shoulder and arm areas.
The sizing is designed for a neat fit, with moderately slender arms.
