The belt is made using deadstock North & Judd buckle from the 1960s made of brass with a brown core.
This original leather is reproduced by a domestic tanner using high-quality leather from 20 years ago. 
By applying multiple layers of oil, the product becomes flexible and fits snugly when worn. 
The brown leather is hand dyed with black dye to create the black color. 
As you use it, the tea core will develop the unique aging and luster it has. 
North & Judd is a long-established hardware manufacturer founded in Connecticut, USA in the late 19th century. 
The company was known for manufacturing brass parts for horse tack, military gear, and workwear, and its anchor mark in particular was widely recognized as a symbol of trust.
