The "Journeyman Transit Pack" is designed with inspiration from the travel gear used by workers and travelers in America during the 1950s-70s.

In an era when bus travel and long-distance trains were commonplace, there was a demand for practicality in carrying small items efficiently.

This utility pack combines a rugged appearance with the functional beauty of a tool. It's a reinterpretation based on the utility designs of travel bags, work bags, and military gear that existed in the United States.

This product incorporates the rugged and practical details found in the tools used for transportation and carrying during that era, but in a modern size balance. It uses fabric inspired by bus signs used in Britain from the 1950s to the 70s.

The impersonal typography and color scheme, which were actually used as destination signs, strongly retain the atmosphere unique to public transportation at the time, and since all the black parts are hand-painted, the worn look and rustic texture, reminiscent of vintage fabric, is also one of its charms.

Because each bus sign is cut from a single piece of fabric, the pattern placement will vary from one sign to another.
