The "Field Recon M-51" is a rifle whose name is derived from "Recon," meaning reconnaissance or search.
Based on the M-51 field pants adopted by the US Army in the 1950s, these pants were designed for cold climates.
Designed for travel and outdoor activities, it features a wide silhouette and large cargo pockets, making it practical for real-world use.
It inherits the unique functional beauty of its predecessors.

 
We disassembled vintage tent cloth that was used by the US military until around the 1960s.
We have rebuilt it into the M-51.

By combining military materials with different uses,

I created a look with depth and dimension. 

Taking advantage of the unique color variations and fading that come with used items, each patchwork piece is different.
