The 2026 collection theme is "SHIBU-KAJI."
This collection is based on the Shibukaji style that was popular primarily in Shibuya, Tokyo, from the late 1980s to the 1990s, with added contemporary elements. We aimed to create products that evoke a nostalgic feeling, reminding people of their younger days, while also being timeless and long-lasting.
The "Navy Blazer" was introduced as an item that perfectly fits this theme, exuding a touch of nostalgia. During the heyday of Shibukaji, this jacket, known as "Kon-Bure" (short for navy blazer), was a staple of Ivy League and traditional fashion. The style of pairing a made-in-USA navy blazer with denim was immensely popular at the time. While retaining the atmosphere of that era, this new model updates the materials and specifications, reintroducing it as a versatile piece that pairs well with denim or chinos.
For the material, we've used 2/2 twill (serge fabric) made from merino wool. It's pre-dyed using top-dyed yarn, achieving both a luxurious feel and casualness while retaining a moderate amount of nap. Another characteristic is its firm resilience due to the tight weave, combined with natural drape. This "Kon-Bure" is a luxurious yet easy-to-wear everyday item. Experience this iconic Shibukaji item that pairs perfectly with denim and chinos.
