HUBBELL will be released in a new color for the first time in several years. This item is a CHIMAYO COAT that reproduces the two-tone design of the 40s, and features an easy-to-use design with an Italian collar and half length. This HUBBELL will be released as a special model with a special silver concho made at the request of FIRSTARROWS. This silver concho was designed with reference to the stampwork created by Native Americans in the 1930s and 40s, and is a masterpiece with attention to detail, combining the Thunderbird motif expressed in JELADO's Laguna series with the arrow, which is the symbol of FIRSTARROWS, and the sun, which is the trademark of the brand. It is finished to perfectly match the vintage feel of the HUBBELL coat and the historical background.
The silver concho is engraved with a stamp and then roughly polished to give it a vintage look and a dull luster. It is then kneaded with an iron ball to create a three-dimensional finish. This concho is a perfect match for the Hubbell coat, but also has a versatile design that can be easily matched with other items.
The production is carried out entirely in the Oshu Mountains, and the fabric is made of a mixture of 79% wool, 12% cotton, and 9% nylon, with 30/2 (two ply No. 30 threads) cotton threads running warp and 2/2 (two ply No. 7 threads) wool 7% and nylon 2% threads running weft. Because there are many parts in the pattern, each pattern is woven on a separate roll of fabric and then combined to produce the product. In the finishing process of the fabric, a tweed finish is used that is not kneaded or shrunk, and a vintage finish is achieved by washing it to create an oil-free look that looks like it has been aged for many years. Therefore, you can enjoy the vintage look that looks like it has already been worn in when it is made into a product.
The dimensions have been revised from the previous release, and the overall size has been updated to a larger size. It is designed to be worn over a denim jacket or leather jacket, and is a noteworthy piece in JELADO's new native print collection.
