The 2 Monkeys Doggerland Jacket [TM13450]

Old photographs taken in the coastal areas of the Netherlands, Belgium, and northern France, facing the North Sea and the English Channel, often depict fishermen and laborers wearing double-breasted jackets, extremely wide trousers, and clogs (wooden shoes), similar to the image on the right. The Doggerland Jacket is designed based on the jackets seen in these photographs. It is made from thick moleskin and comes in two colors: smoked black and sepia (a deep reddish-brown).

*Doggerland was a landmass that existed between Great Britain and Western Europe about 10,000 years ago. (It is now submerged in the southern North Sea.)
