This jacket is based on the early 3rd type combat jacket (nicknamed "Jungle Fatigue") adopted by the US military in the 1960s.
The fabric is 100% cotton ripstop with a leaf camouflage pattern.
The fabric will age beautifully over time.
It is a sturdy yet supple fabric that is comfortable to wear.
The buttons are Bakelite.
It features four large pockets with gussets and flaps, offering high storage capacity and functionality.

The 3rd Marine Division, headquartered outside of mainland US, was stationed at Camp Courtney in Okinawa during the Vietnam War and participated in numerous operations.
Camp Courtney is one of eight Marine bases in Okinawa, collectively known as Butler Marine Base.
The "SNAFUOPS" on the right chest is a slang term for "a messed-up operation."
