A redesign based on the winter deck work parka produced for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps towards the end of the war.
In fact, a commercial version was available at the time under the name N-2, and it was a jacket that was often purchased at private expense and worn in practice.
The material is a paraffin-coated, high-density grosgrain fabric with a 100% cotton outer surface.
By applying paraffin coating to the cotton fabric, we have created a fabric that is windproof, cold-resistant, and water-repellent.
The lining is made of wool alpaca material.
It is a soft lining that is both comfortable to wear and warm.
This is an original Colinbo jacket that reproduces the best warmth and quality of the time.
The front is a combination of buttons and a zipper, the zipper being a bell-shaped "TALON" design.
The buttons are nut buttons.
The front patch pocket has a design reminiscent of deck jackets from the 40s, and is reinforced with leather, giving it a distinctive design.
There is also a small pocket inside the right pocket.
The distinctive hood has an alpaca lining and can be adjusted with a belt.
The waist also has a snap button adjuster on the back, making it adjustable.
It also retains details similar to those of the early N-1, such as underarm loops, alpaca lining all the way to the cuffs, and a drawstring at the hem.
This authentic N-1 jacket has a playful touch, and is finished with COLIMBO's signature arrangement and attention to detail, combining durability and functionality, while also exuding a classic atmosphere, making it a highly recommended item.
