Furthermore, it has been salt-shrink processed to create a tough fabric with a unique texture.
The moderate sheen of the cotton-nylon blend creates a luxurious feel.
The lining is also a cotton-nylon fabric, 50% nylon and 50% cotton.
Thinsulate is used for the insulation, providing warmth that surpasses vintage items.
The most distinctive feature of this jacket, known as the "Rabbit Parka," is the hood's specifications.

~COLIMBO Description~
The masterpiece N-3B Snorkel Parka developed by the US Air Force was produced until 1974 as aircrew and winter workwear, and has continued to be produced as a general-purpose parka with fabric changes since then.
Meanwhile, in the 1960s, the CWU (CLOTHING WEAR UNIT) series, aiming to establish a more innovative layering system, underwent repeated improvements over short periods, experimenting with incorporating feedback from the field. The CWU-8P late model, nicknamed "Rabbit Parka" due to its distinctive hood trim shape, essentially followed the N-series body shape but featured details designed for harsh working environments, such as a slightly tighter hood shape and a closure mechanism resembling a face mask.

~About this product~
This product uses a tough fabric for the outer shell, made from a cotton-nylon blend with a unique texture created by salt-shrink processing. The Thinsulate material in the interlining provides even greater warmth than the original CWU-8P. Please note that the flame-retardant treatment applied to the fabric surface at the time is not included.

~About the custom~
This custom model reproduces the traditional squadron that operated the masterpiece F-106A Delta Dart, considered the culmination of the Century Series, including the F-100, which guarded the skies as the cutting edge of the S.A.G.E. automatic fire control system-linked air defense system during the Cold War era.
The paint is applied by spraying, just like at the time, so it will gradually fade with age and cleaning.
