COLIMBO Bellfast Dropper's Vest "FLAK HAPPY" Flak Happy [ZY-0140]

This alpaca liner vest is modeled after the AAF military vest, which is believed to have been produced after 1944, towards the end of the war.
This item appears to have been intended to make up for the lack of heat retention performance in existing systems.
This product is not officially adopted, and there are many variations available, but it is based on a rare model with a pocket.
The lining is alpaca wool pile.

As part of the 441st Troop Carrier Group, it completed numerous operations, including the Normandy landings. It also conducted silent raids using unpowered gliders.
