CM47 DENIM Baker Pants [CT11347]

We have tailored a pair of classic baker pants - based on the herringbone twill utility trousers officially adopted by the US military in 1947 - using our 10.5-ounce LAST RESORT Ao-Tag (Blue Tag) denim. The name "baker pants" is widely said to originate from the trousers traditionally worn by bread bakers. Also frequently referred to as fatigue pants, this style was utilized not only by soldiers deployed to combat zones but also as standard uniform wear for domestic base duties. Introduced as the direct successor to the M-43 trousers, the M-47 pattern famously eliminated the bulky side cargo pockets and integrated durable urea buttons. By executing this authentic military silhouette in a light-ounce denim, we have elevated a timeless utility style into an incredibly versatile wardrobe staple.

The Blue Tag denim utilized for this piece is intricately woven with three distinct thread weights in the warp, offering a highly unique textile profile that yields beautiful, irregular vertical fading lines. Because the weft features a light-gray sulfur-dyed yarn, the fabric exudes a grounded, deeply vintage atmosphere.
