CM43 Baker Short Pants [CT12312]

These baker pants, featuring herringbone twill adopted by the U.S. military in 1947, have been redesigned as shorts, inheriting their characteristic features and launched in 2024. While retaining the main details, the thigh width has been adjusted with reference to the silhouette of 41 shorts. They are said to have originated from the pants worn by "bakers" during work, and are also known as "fatigue pants." These pants, widely used not only in combat but also for internal work, were adopted as M-47 pants, the successor model to M-43 pants. The M-47 eliminated large cargo pockets and used urea buttons, characterized by a simple and functional design. These shorts use herringbone twill fabric. The robust thickness is attractive, reproducing the three-dimensional texture of the ridges created by variations in twist seen in vintage herringbone. Available in two colors, they have been slop-dyed based on our own vintage items. This dyeing process allows the color to fade with wear, providing a deep, aged appearance reminiscent of vintage items. With a slightly wide silhouette, they cater to a wide range of styles, from casual to military-inspired. These durable shorts offer an atmospheric feel and will develop a unique character with age.
