CM37 Wabash Fatigue Hat [CT11737]

From our COMBAT TOGS lineup, we release the CM37 Denim Fatigue Hat. This piece is meticulously based on the authentic denim fatigue hats issued by the US Army during the World War II era. Specifically modeling a pattern officially supplied between 1937 and 1941, it represents a legendary military design whose value has absolutely skyrocketed on the modern vintage market. For the material, we utilized our proprietary LAST RESORT Ao-Tag (Blue Tag) denim, executing this specific version in a unique left-hand twill Wabash stripe fabric where both the warp and weft yarns were completely rope-dyed in deep indigo and finished with a custom, proprietary printing screen.

We focused our construction efforts on mirroring the raw, unique sewing quirks found on original vintage specimens. Major structural focal points include the authentic interior seam construction - where the raw fabric edges are left cleanly cut and bound underneath top-stitched fabric tape - alongside the distinct period-correct method used to attach the brim band.

The fatigue hat remains an absolute, must-have staple of classic vintage style. Mirroring historical mid-century artifacts, the Blue Tag fabric is woven with three distinct warp thread weights, allowing you to enjoy a highly unique, irregular vertical fading profile that develops beautifully over time.
