Champs Sweat Shirt Plain [AB11214]

The collaborative "CHAMPS" sweatshirt, which has been popular every season, is now available in new colorways. For this collection, we commissioned Riding High to produce a sweatshirt featuring our unique freedom sleeves. It is available in two colors: Smoke Black and Glass Green.
It is knitted on an old Azuma knitting machine, which produces a tubular body (no side seams). This machine creates excellent stretch and softness, resulting in a unique, plump texture. The Azuma knitting machine is rare and used to produce loopwheel fabric with a vintage feel and lightness. This machine emerged around the 1970s as a transition from traditional loopwheel machines to more innovative knitting machines. Due to its slow knitting process, there are fewer machines remaining today.
As a result, you can enjoy a textured surface and a plump feel. We also pay close attention to the brushing process. For circular brushing, the fabric is brushed evenly on all four sides to match the flat surface, which takes four times more effort than normal brushing. Furthermore, brushing before dyeing enhances the unique texture of the material.
Almost all sewing is done with twin needles, and the cuffs are made with circular knit ribs. The cuff ribs are attached in one step from the twin-needle stitching at the armpit, faithfully reproducing vintage sewing methods. This sweatshirt is a piece that allows you to enjoy the unique texture and details of that era.
