Our popular collaboration sweatshirt "CHAMPS" has been released with a new print. The print faithfully recreates the feel of bowling league sweatshirts from that era, giving it a classic feel. The body was commissioned to Riding High and features our signature Freedom Sleeve. It was made using a rare, old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine, with a circular knitting technique and no side seams. This machine was developed in the 1970s during the transition from loopwheel knitting to more innovative knitting machines. The slow, careful knitting process creates a fabric with excellent elasticity, a soft feel, and a unique, fluffy texture.
The fleece lining is light and has a vintage-like texture. Furthermore, the brushing process is also carefully considered, with four times more effort than usual being spent to evenly brush the fabric on all four sides. In addition, by using a pre-brushing process that brushes the fabric before dyeing, a deep texture is achieved.
