"Capt Style" Mustang Paste/Mustang Paste [MP]

Mustang Paste is a natural horse oil that can be used on both vintage leather and modern leather items.
Of all animal oils, natural horse oil is said to have the most penetrating power.
This "Mustang Paste" is a product that has been specially refined from that horse oil.

This is a retro maintenance oil designed to give leather the look of the era when simple leather maintenance was performed by simply applying animal fat directly to the leather.
Unlike the wax or petroleum-based products commonly sold on the market today that only polish or coat the surface, this product penetrates into the leather and cares for it from the inside out.

General oils and treatments used for leather maintenance contain wax and petroleum-based mineral oils as their main ingredients, and are not capable of penetrating deep into natural leather.
Even though mink oil is a major leather care item, its mink content is not high (around 5%), so it is not very effective at penetrating into the leather.
Although this may still be sufficient for surface care and protection, it is on thick, hard leather items that Mustang Paste's powers are most apparent.
Because it is made from the same animal material as leatherwear, it has a high penetration power that penetrates deeply, providing leather with the nutrients that are most suitable for it, and protecting it from damage such as cracks caused by dryness and mold caused by excess moisture.

Since it is in paste form, it spreads smoothly evenly when applied with a cloth, so there is no need to worry about uneven application.
It can be used to care for smooth leather items such as not only horsehide, but also cowhide and sheepskin.
Since it is colorless, it can be used with any color of leather.

Mustang Paste is mainly made of horse oil (about 97%) and has different penetration power.
It contains a few percent of natural beeswax to stabilize it into a paste. It is more effective than lotion types because it does not absorb too much oil.
The oils penetrate the leather, and the beeswax is wiped off during the final polishing process, so it does not remain on the surface of the leather.
