Brutal Fleece U.S. NAVY Print [AG21240]

For the 25AW production release of the BRUTAL FLEECE, we are now offering a printed version for the first time. The design faithfully follows 1950s vintage T-shirt designs, realized with a discharge print.
The body is envisioned as a tough construction that can withstand harsh training, hence its name, "BRUTAL FLEECE," the ultimate sweatshirt. We custom-knitted a 1940s two-needle mottled gray sweatshirt and sewed it using vintage sewing machines. Production was thoroughly executed with the cooperation of the specialized brand REBUILT.
For the fabric, we used 20-count top yarn for the face, 40-count natural yarn for the middle, and 8-count natural yarn for the back, reproducing the deep mottled gray reminiscent of vintage pieces. The natural middle yarn is subtly visible on the surface, creating a natural mottled look characteristic of top yarns. The fabric has a plump texture unique to loopwheeled machines, and any stretching or sagging after wear can be restored by washing. We meticulously attended to every detail, using the same vintage sewing machines as back then. The SINGER 105-4 (double-chainstitch machine) was used to sew and appropriately cut the fabric, while the back was covered with a double needle. The unique stitching creates a vintage feel. The cuffs have an empty chainstitch finish for strength and elasticity. A UNION SPECIAL 11900 was used to sew while pressing down on the cross-section, preventing seam tightness and rippling.
For the collar binder, a UNION SPECIAL 52800 was used, sewn from the back to place a thick silk thread on the front side, improving elasticity and strength while preventing thread breakage.
This is the ultimate vintage sweatshirt, thoroughly crafted down to the fabric texture, sewing technique, and machine selection. Please experience the culmination of JELADO's craftsmanship.
