From the BASIC COLLECTION, we are releasing the popular **6th Man** in a new colorway. This time, the finish brings out a worn-in vintage feel.
The cherry and NASUKON color scheme features a faded wine red with hints of pink, while the NASUKON expresses the look of a deep navy that has been washed and sun-washed for decades. After garment dyeing the white sweatshirt, it is washed and then painted and rubbed by artisans, carefully recreating each piece to create a vintage look. The body design is based on a style without a V-shaped gusset, as seen in sweatshirts from the 1960s. Despite the lack of a V-shaped front design, it is carefully tailored with twin-needle stitching. Furthermore, inspired by vintage items, it has been redesigned as a three-quarter sleeve cut-off sweatshirt.
The fabric is made from 100% cotton loopwheel knit. It's not brushed, and the side seams are carefully knitted without excessive tension on the yarn. The material is called "30/10 fleece," with a thin 30-count yarn used for the jersey on the front and a thick 10-count yarn used for the loops on the back. It combines just the right amount of thickness and softness for year-round comfort. The name "6th Man" refers to the role of a reserve player in basketball who is not a starter. We envisioned a player who always contributes to the team and performs at all times, and we reflected that concept in the sweatshirt.
