From our BASIC COLLECTION, the popular **6th Man** is being released in new colorways. This time, we've given it a finish that strongly emphasizes a well-worn vintage feel. In the Cherry and NASUKON colorways, Cherry evokes the faded, pinkish tone of wine red, while NASUKON expresses the faded appearance of dark navy after decades of washing and sun exposure. After product-dyeing white sweatshirts, we applied a wash process, along with hand-painting and distressing by artisans, meticulously recreating the vintage feel piece by piece. The body design is based on the style seen in 1960s sweatshirts, without a V-gusset. Despite the absence of a front V-gusset, it is carefully tailored with twin-needle stitching. Furthermore, drawing inspiration from vintage items, it has been arranged as a 7-sleeved cut-off sweatshirt. The fabric used is 100% cotton loopwheel knit. It is not brushed, and the side seams are carefully sewn without applying unnecessary tension to the yarn. The material is called "30/10 Ura-ke" (french terry), using fine 30-count yarn for the outer jersey knit and thick 10-count yarn for the inner loops. It achieves both moderate thickness and softness, making it comfortable to wear year-round. The name "6th Man" refers to a substitute player in basketball who comes off the bench to make a significant impact. Imagining a player who always contributes to the team and performs strongly in any situation, we've reflected that philosophy in this sweatshirt.
