41 Khaki Vintage Finish [AG02311]

A vintage finish of the classic 41 khaki has been released from "LAST RESORT CHINO CLOTH".
These pants are sampled from a collection of fabric scraps from over 70 years ago and have been paint-processed.
Natural paint stains are reproduced, as if from real paint work.
Similar to "LAST RESORT DENIM," the material is thoroughly crafted using carefully selected materials from several types of deadstock M41 KHAKI, taking into consideration the production background and technical capabilities of the time, including yarn thickness, unevenness shape, twist count, and twist direction. The raw cotton used is American Deep South cotton, which is the basis of Jelado.
The unevenness shape is natural, neither too strong nor too weak, reproducing the slub yarn of the time.
Previous materials were dyed with reactive dyes, but this time they were dyed with vat dyes, which were used at the time.
While vat dyes are slightly lower in quality compared to modern reactive dyes, they were excellent dyes for the 1950s, being strong against colorfastness, friction, and sunlight.
For this reason, they were widely used for tough materials such as workwear and towels.
To allow for enjoying aging with each wash, American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes are used to create a fabric feel reminiscent of vintage items from that era. Characteristic and highly reproducible details are also pursued, such as offset belt loops and 2mm wide double-welt pockets, just like vintage items. While it is common to use pocket lining for regular pockets, separate chino fabric is used, just like the vintage item sampled.
In addition, the strong puckering of the side seams results in a thicker silhouette that further emphasizes the rugged impression when worn. The stitching is also matched to the pitch of the time, expressing a more classic 41 khaki atmosphere, and the rise is deep and the thigh is wide, following the vintage silhouette. LAST RESORT CHINO CLOTH was created as the ultimate chino cloth, with meticulous attention to raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing.
