This material has been thoroughly crafted while taking into account the production background and technological capabilities of the time.
The raw cotton used is Gerard's standard, American Deep South cotton.
The shape of the unevenness is neither too strong nor too weak, recreating a natural uneven yarn.
Up until now, the materials have been dyed with reactive dyes,
This time, we dyed it using vat dyes that were used at the time.
Vat dyes are of lower quality compared to modern reactive dyes,
As a dye from around the 50s, it was highly resistant to fastness, friction, and sunlight.
It was a very good dye for its time, so it was used for work clothes and towels.
It appears to have been used in materials where toughness was required.
So that you can enjoy the changes that occur over time, just like back then.
Made with American cotton, woven on a shuttle loom, and using vat dyes, with each wash,
The fabric has been finished to evoke the feel of vintage pieces from that era.
