JELADO's classic flannel shirt from the "STANDARD COLLECTION" makes its appearance this year as the Unionworkers Shirt.
It features a short length and a gusset with selvage.
We produced it using custom-ordered fabric woven on an old power loom.
We focused on a used look, giving the surface of the fabric a dry, oil-removed feel, while the back has the appearance of worn fabric with slightly suppressed napping.
To allow modern wearers to enjoy it while retaining the charm of old America, we've made the arms slightly slimmer, the body width tighter, and the length a bit shorter than traditional flannel shirts.
The difference from the other regular-length flannel shirt becomes clear when worn in the correct size: compared to the regular-length one, this has wider shoulders, a narrower body, and slightly longer sleeves.
And, since the length is a bit shorter, it feels like a tighter silhouette.
As it's shorter than regular flannel shirts, it's a versatile item that works well with a wide range of styles, including short-length riders jackets, flight jackets, deck jackets, denim jackets, and down vests.
This flannel shirt will make you rediscover the comfort, silhouette, and warmth of flannel when you wear it in the right size.
The sewing is primarily cotton thread, but to ensure long wear after the strong used-finish treatment, some spun thread is used.
We made the stitch width finer to emphasize the used look.
