JELADO's "STANDARD COLLECTION" introduces a new take on its classic flannel shirt, now called the Unionworkers Shirt.
It features a short length and a gusset with selvage.
We've crafted this shirt from a specially ordered fabric woven on an old power loom.
Emphasizing a worn-in feel, the fabric's surface has a dry, crisp texture as if the oil has been removed, while the reverse side expresses a worn-out appearance with slightly suppressed napping, like a well-loved flannel shirt.
While retaining the essence of vintage American style, we've updated this flannel shirt for contemporary wearers by slightly narrowing the armholes, tightening the body width, and shortening the length compared to traditional flannel shirts.
The difference from our other regular-length flannel shirt becomes clear when worn in the correct size: this version has broader shoulders, a narrower body, and slightly longer sleeves compared to the regular-length style.
The shorter length also contributes to a more fitted silhouette.
Because its length is shorter than typical flannel shirts, it's a versatile item that pairs well with various styles, including short-length riders' jackets, flight jackets, deck jackets, denim jackets, and down vests.
When worn in your true size, this flannel shirt will reacquaint you with the comfort, silhouette, and warmth that flannel shirts offer.
The stitching is primarily cotton thread, but due to the strong distressed finish applied after production and our desire for the shirt to be worn for a long time, some spun yarn has been used.
