JELADO Smoker Shirt Indigo Chambray [JP94112]

The top is made of a specially ordered 100% cotton indigo chambray fabric.
This item is reproduced using the fabric of a 20's to 30's "BRAVEMAN" DEADSTOCK work shirt that we own.
Chambray fabric is a plain weave cotton fabric that uses colored warp threads (vertical threads) and white threads (or threads of a different color from the warp threads) for the weft threads (horizontal threads), and is characterized by its unique marbled texture on the surface.
As you can see in the image, the weft thread (horizontal thread) has an uneven texture, resulting in a supple fabric with just the right thickness and stiffness.
This fabric will change over time, with vertical fading and creases that come with the unique feel of indigo dyeing.

The design is based on the gacha pocket shirts from "BIG YANK" from the 1930s.
The small pocket on the front reproduces the bag stitching that is unique to vintage items, making it an item that will appeal to the vintage soul.
The stitching on the shoulders and arms is triple stitched to ensure strength.
In addition, the pockets and other parts are double stitched, just like in the original, giving them the atmosphere of the time.
The buttons are hexagonal, like those found on old work shirts.
The gusset has an empty loop design with ears.
The original "BIG YANK" was available in both types, with gussets with ears and with gussets with a bag stitching, so this time we have chosen the type with gussets with ears to retain the atmosphere of the time.
Cotton thread is used for sewing.
Again, if the garment is made with cotton yarn, the threads will get packed together when washed or dried in the dryer, resulting in stronger marks around the shoulders and arms.
The size is moderately slim around the arms, making it a design that can be worn comfortably.
