JELADO Smoker Shirt Indigo Stripe [JP71101]

We have tailored the Smoker Shirt using an indigo stripe fabric that recreates valuable old fabrics from our collection dating back to before the 1930s.
Based on the "BIG YANK" gacha pocket shirts of the 1930s.
The small pocket on the left chest meticulously reproduces vintage details such as the bag stitching, making it a detail that will appeal to vintage enthusiasts.
For stitching, the shoulders and arms feature triple stitching for a durable construction.
Additionally, the pockets and collar feature double stitching, just like those from that era, contributing to the vintage aesthetic.
The buttons are hexagonal metal buttons, as used on old work shirts.
The gusset features a selvedge run-off chain stitch specification.
Original "BIG YANK" shirts from that period had both selvedge gussets and bag-stitched gussets, so to preserve the atmosphere of the time, we chose the selvedge gusset type for this shirt. White cotton thread is used for the upper thread, and orange cotton thread for the lower thread.
When cotton thread is used, washing and tumble drying will cause the threads to shrink and tighten further, resulting in more pronounced fading and wear (atari) on areas like the shoulders and arms.
The fit is designed to be sleek and comfortable, with moderately slim armholes.
