The material is 100% cotton chambray.
In an age where many work items with rare, eye-catching details circulate, we have designed a short-sleeved shirt with a classic design from a realistic work perspective.
However, it may be surprising, but original (vintage) short-sleeved chambray shirts are hard to find.
Most of them are long-sleeved shirts whose sleeves were cut by the buyer at the time (or in later years).
Although there were many workwear brands in the 40s and 50s, only a handful of them produced short-sleeved chambray.
Therefore, while it is an orthodox item in terms of design, from the perspective of a vintage item, it is a highly valued and appreciated item.
This time, we have taken such an original short-sleeved chambray shirt and put together an orthodox design while incorporating robust workwear-like specifications.
The collar has double stitching, the body is triple-stitched, both sides of the body have gussets, and a union ticket is sewn on the inside of the left front hem.
Flap pockets are placed on both chests, and yellow cotton thread is used for the bar tacks.
This is a workwear designed with a realistic perspective, intentionally refraining from special details such as asymmetrical "gacha-pockets" and "mountain pockets."
The length has been shortened to allow for a neat silhouette while maintaining ample room around the armholes.
While adhering to the basics of workwear, the simple specifications allow for enjoyment not only by those who seek a work style but also by those who are not constrained by it.
It can be worn with shorts for a "casual holiday style" without feeling out of place.
