JELADO Mexican Ring Maria [SG94615]

This is a JELADO original Mexican ring.
The base of this ring is silver, with the top and sides made of brass.
Many vintage items use copper, but copper is weak and can chip or break with use. So, JELADO decided to use brass, which has higher strength and develops more character with age.
This Mexican ring features a Virgin Mary motif.
The area around Mary is filled with white colored acrylic resin.
This technique was also used in original Mexican rings of that era.
The sides are engraved with a lily pattern.
In Christianity, the lily symbolizes purity.
The back of the ring is engraved with "JELADO" and "Starry Gate".
