This concho is designed based on the stamp work created by Native Americans in the 1930s-40s, and it is an exquisite piece that combines the Thunderbird motif expressed in JELADO's Laguna series with the arrow, FIRSTARROWS's symbol, and the sun, the brand's trademark, meticulously crafted down to the finest details.
After carving patterns with stamps, the concho is roughly polished to express the unique darkening and dull luster characteristic of vintage items. Additionally, by adding a process of tumbling with iron balls, a three-dimensional and deep finish is achieved. This concho is not only perfect for the HUBBELL VEST but also has a design that can be matched with other items, enhancing its appeal as an accent.
The HUBBELL VEST is consistently produced in the Bishu mountainous region. The fabric is woven with a composition of 79% wool, 12% cotton, and 9% nylon, using 30/2 (two 30-count cotton threads twisted together) cotton yarn for the warp, and 2/7 (two 7-count threads twisted together) yarn of 90% wool and 10% nylon for the weft. In the fabric finishing process, a tweed finish is adopted without fulling or shrinking, and by washing, a vintage finish is achieved that gives the impression of oil having been removed over many years. Therefore, you can enjoy a vintage feel as if it has already been worn the moment it becomes a finished product.
