Unlike the 301EXX, I don't wear these pants very often. I basically wear them as an inner layer under my coat in the winter, so the pleats and flaps have rubbed off from the coat and have aged over time. I've washed them four times in total, including together with the 301EXX, and they've been put in the dryer, so they've packed tightly together, and there's some puckering on the flaps and back yoke. Unlike the pants, they haven't aged dramatically, but there is some overall fading. I'm still looking forward to seeing them age, so I'd like to continue developing them at my own pace.

Since I started wearing them in July, I initially wore them mainly indoors, such as in stores. From October to around May, I wore them as a set every day at home and even as pajamas, so I must have worn them for at least 7 hours every day. After 10 months, the jeans had faded more than the jacket, so I started wearing them less as a set when going out and more often with chinos to match the colors. After two months, I gave both the top and bottom a first wash to remove summer stains. I washed them a little less frequently once the weather cooled down, but I still washed the top and bottom at the same time once every three months to prevent bacteria from growing and weakening the fabric. There were no tears in the fabric, and I'm pleased with the well-balanced fade of both the top and bottom.

In spring and autumn, I wear it over a cut-and-sew top. In winter, I wear it under a coat. I've worn it whenever I had the chance. It's not a dramatic fade overall, but I like the more natural fade. In particular, by drying it thoroughly in the dryer, the waistband area, twists, and puckering seen everywhere fade more realistically. Furthermore, the vertical fading that is unique to black tag denim gives it a 40s feel. The strong contrast that only black tag denim, which is characterized by its deep indigo, can offer is a key point, and it's easy to differentiate it from white tag denim. There's still plenty of fun to be had wearing it!
