The defining characteristic of this outfit is, undoubtedly, a straightforward American casual style. Wearing a sweatshirt, and jeans. That's all there is to it. But that, I believe, is the essence of American casual. A style that's unpretentious, effortless, and blends into everyday life. Since I've gotten a bit bigger, I went up one size this time (lol). The sweatshirt was the main event that day, so I took it off halfway through, but the pink accent I inserted into the denim setup is doing a great job. Precisely because the denim is rugged, these soft colors truly stand out. It's simple, but with a carefully calculated balance. It's casual, but doesn't look sloppy—that's the kind of outfit it is.
