As it is winter, the colour tones are muted overall, but the mohair knit is the main focus of the outfit. A vest was chosen to highlight the gold of the mohair knit and to increase protection from the cold. Mohair is voluminous, so rather than adding an extra down vest to make it even more voluminous, a padded vest was used to balance the look.
