Westcoast shirt from JELADO BASIC COLLECTION [SG72107]

This open-collar shirt, which boasts stable sales, has been made with special indigo sashiko fabric.
The ground part uses 20/- thread for both warp and weft, and the striped sashiko part of the warp uses 10/2 thread.
The fabric has a rough texture.
The dyeing and printing is done entirely at a factory in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. After indigo dyeing, the fabric is rotary (a roll screen type) used to apply pigment discharge printing in a geometric print typical of the 50s.
Pigment discharge printing is a method of printing where the indigo dye is removed and beige pigment is added. This allows for beautiful colors to be reproduced without being affected by the color of the base.
The color fades with each wear, allowing you to enjoy the changes over time.
