WEST: Yamamoto's White Tag Aging & This Week's New Video: Engineer Boots "Professor Suzuki's Explanation Video!" ~WEST

~Aging~

Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.

It's April.

At Utsubo Park, near WEST,

many people are enjoying cherry blossom viewing, and I'm feeling "spring."

As the title of this blog says,

it's about "aging."

I'd like to show everyone the aging of WEST Yamamoto's denim.

First, the 406XX.

JELADO 55Denim Jacket(55デニムジャケット) 406XX Size34(XS)~40(L)【JP94406】

JELADO 55Denim Jacket(55デニムジャケット) 406XX Size34(XS)~40(L)【JP94406】

JELADO 55Denim Jacket 406XX Size34(XS)~40(L)【JP94406】

JELADO 55Denim Jacket 406XX Size42(XL)~44(XXL)【JP94406D】

JELADO 55Denim Jacket 406XX Big Size【JP94406DD】

This is a 406XX that has been worn for about two and a half years.

Because it's been worn so much, you can see the "honeycomb" fading really clearly.

It's currently available at JELADO stores,

so please come and try it on.

301XX

This is also a 301XX worn for two and a half years.

You can clearly see from this image how well it's been worn in, right?

To achieve this level of aging,

just like the 406XX, you can really feel Yamamoto's love for denim!

The white tag focuses on the XX fabric of the 50s,

so it's a natural denim with a strong blue tint.

It's 14 oz denim and very comfortable to wear,

so I highly recommend it.

JELADO Universal Slim 312ZXX Denim Pants【JP94312】

JELADO Universal Slim 312ZXX Denim Pants【JP94312】

We currently have the 312ZXX, which uses the same fabric,

so for those who like a slim style,

these are a pair of jeans that I definitely want you to try on.

This time, I introduced the aging of the white tag.

Next time, I'd like to introduce the black tag as well.

Thank you for your cooperation.

~Information on Pre-order Items~

I'd like to introduce this item, which is now available for pre-order.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】

The Rebel Jacket is

a rider's jacket that has been a standard item at JELADO for many years.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

the epaulets have been eliminated.

Furthermore, instead of quilting,

cupro is used to make it easier to put on and take off,

making it a comfortable garment to wear.

Made from 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish,

it offers a softness not found in 100% pigment-dyed leather, and because it is "tea-core leather,"

you can enjoy its aging as you wear it repeatedly.

There's another item available for pre-order.

This is also a very popular item.

When it was released last time, it sold out extremely quickly,

and sizes disappeared in the blink of an eye.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,

adopted in 1947.

※ What is Herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" and "bone"

The name comes from the pattern resembling the bones of a herring when it is splayed open.

Baker pants were worn in battlefields,

but they were also worn during administrative work.

It is also said that the name "Baker Pants" comes from the fact that bakers wore them.

It is also said that the name "Baker Pants" comes from the fact that bakers wore them.

Since it's herringbone twill fabric,

it's thick and durable.

Furthermore, since it's 100% cotton, you can enjoy its aging as you wear it repeatedly.

And this item has been available for pre-order for a while now,

it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps, and

they are popular items in the vintage industry

with the nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of the name is as follows...

The large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted for carrying a "poncho,"

and the flaps were added to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets resemble the hindquarters of a monkey,

hence the name "Monkey Pants."

The production period of the M44 was actually

very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Furthermore, because they were issued to the

American Marine Corps, which was a "small, elite force,"

the overall production volume was low, so they are traded at quite high prices

in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps

actually wore them are as follows:

・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 – Mar. 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 – Sep. 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 – Jul. 27, 1953)

It seems they were widely worn during these periods.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are doughnut buttons,

which also creates a vintage look.

By wearing them regularly,

you can enjoy their aging.

Half-length coats with native patterns,

leather jackets... and even

coveralls all go very well with them.

I also recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.

Please pre-order online or at our stores.

Thank you.

Pre-orders for popular items have started.

We look forward to your pre-orders.

Thank you for your cooperation.
