This is a product from KOTOKA, a Nara-based shoe brand,

which is also handled at JELADO WEST.

 

KOTOKA One-Piece Side Gore Tatsuno Waxed Leather [KTO-5002]

 

This item is available in two colors: black and camel.

The one-piece side gore uses 'Tatsuno waxed leather',

which is treated with wax, giving it water repellency.

 

Waxed leather melts even with body temperature,

and as the wax permeates the leather, it softens.

(It is a bit stiff at first.)

 

The image above compares the "new product"

one-piece side gore with a "well-aged" pair that has been worn for years.

 

Currently, only US6.5 (24.5cm) is available in store.

Missing sizes will be restocked around the end of October,

so customers who are interested, please wait a little longer.

KOTOKA One-Piece Derby Men's Tatsuno Hand-Waxed Leather Black (brown core) [KTO-2002]

The leather used here is Tatsuno hand-waxed leather.

 

The process involves applying wax and using a hand iron to penetrate it into the leather,

repeated 3-4 times. This brings out clear color variations,

and the leather develops an enjoyable aged look.

 

The one-piece leather offers a comfortable, enveloping fit and lightness...

and with no lining, it adapts easily to the wearer's foot.

 

Please try them on and purchase them at the store.

 

Since they have a wide fit, we recommend going 0.5 to 1 cm larger.

For customers who wear Converse All-Stars around 26.5 cm,

we recommend 25.5 cm or 26 cm.

To reproduce the thick yet soft fabric feel of the 1950s,

we analyzed it and took a different approach than JELADO's standard flannel shirts,

resulting in the new flannel shirt, 'Farmers Shirt'.

 

This flannel shirt has a fluffy softness and a pleasant texture,

making it feel 'comfortable' to wear.

 

The fabric is sulfur-dyed.

We highly recommend it as the vintage-like texture

further enhances its appeal.
