JELADO S/S Work Shirt【JP94121】

 

JELADO manufactures based on vintage items,

but short-sleeved chambray shirts are surprisingly hard to find.

 

You often see cut long-sleeved shirts,

but original short-sleeved shirts are rarely seen.

 

Based on shirts from the 1940s-50s,

we intentionally omitted special details like "gacha pockets" or "chin straps",

and instead adopted commonly seen details

to create a realistic work shirt.

 

The buttons are metal buttons.

Just one button can change the whole impression.

 

 

The collar has a double-stitched specification.

This is a sewing specification seen in old shirts.

 

(Neck to shoulder/arm circumference)

 

(Underarm)

 

(Underarm to hem)

 

Triple stitching is used from the neck to the shoulders and armholes, and from the underarms to the hem.

The serger thread is left unprocessed.

Modern shirts typically process this, but since it's based on vintage, we've kept this specification.

 

The primary purpose of triple needle stitching is "reinforcement" through stitching,

but another aim is for the fabric to develop a unique "ataari" (fading) when washed and shrunk.

 

It's recommended to pair it with denim, military wear, chinos,

or shorts in this season, so please visit our store to try it on and consider it.
