JELADO McKinley Liner 【JP73412】

 

 

 

 

 

This jacket is based on the SkyLiner, which was released in the 1960s by Eddie Bauer, a long-established outdoor brand.

 

It has been sold since 1936,

and has been a beloved masterpiece for over 85 years, but

what exactly is the SkyLiner? It's actually a down jacket.

 

At that time, Eddie Bauer noticed

the lightness and high heat retention of feathers, and

devised a down jacket that prevented the feathers from shifting by enclosing them in diamond-shaped quilting,

and was designed to conform to the body.

 

JELADO's McKinley liner is

a high-spec jacket based on the 1960s SkyLiner, but instead of down,

it uses Primaloft Gold.

 

The biggest advantage is that its insulation performance

is maintained at 98% even when wet.

 

When down gets wet, it tends to collect at the bottom of the quilting,

creating gaps that allow air to pass through, reducing its insulation performance.

 

However, since Primaloft Gold is a sheet-like material,

it does not clump at the bottom of the quilting, so as mentioned above,

its insulation performance is maintained at 98%.

 

And there's another great point.

The inside of the pockets is alpaca,

so your hands will stay warm even if you put them in.

 

This is a high-spec jacket

that is lightweight and offers excellent warmth.

The base fabric aims to reproduce the thick yet soft material from before the 1950s.

We thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts and, just like with Lee workwear, sent them to a testing institution.

By meticulously analyzing these factors, we developed a new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses

sulfur dyes.

While there is less demand for sulfur dyeing nowadays,

the "aging" it undergoes with wear and

the fluffy "fabric texture" and "feel on the skin,"

as if wrapped in a towel, are outstanding and highly recommended.

 

This product receives many inquiries from customers

concerned about sizing, but we would appreciate it if you could consult us in store

rather than by phone (as we may not be able to accommodate inquiries depending on the situation, such as during store visits).
