Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.

Today, I'd like to introduce you to the aging of JELADO's original denim fabric, "LAST RESORT" black tag, which is running low in stock at both JELADO stores.

Yamamoto: 407EXX/M/worn for 1.5 to 2 years

Uemura: 407EXX/XL/worn for 9 months

This jacket is commonly known as the "1st" model.

It is based on the LEVI'S 506XX, which features a single pocket and cinch back, and is highly popular and constantly rising in price.

This jacket features a "split back" from size L and above...

This is also known as a T-Back specification.

The cinch back uses a pin-buckle instead of a slide buckle, focusing on the 1945-1947 (early) period.

Similar to the pants I will introduce later, during the war, "material controls" were imposed.

Due to this, LEVI'S also made detail changes, but with the end of the war in 1945 and the lifting of material controls,

they announced new denim fabric and began to return to pre-war original details, but it wasn't a smooth transition.

This was because there was a large surplus of denim fabric (used for S506XX & S501XX) at each factory during the war.

I believe it was also to reduce costs, but they chose to use up the fabric used for wartime denim instead of discarding it.

They used it up in approximately 2 years.

The "LAST RESORT" white tag reproduces the XX fabric of the 1950s with a bluish denim.

The 301XX of that white tag series focuses on the bluish pants released after the wartime denim was used up in 1947, so the white tag 301XX is the late model of 1947.

The Last Resort black tag is a transitional denim from 1947, changing from "darker denim" used during the war to "bluish denim," making it the early 1947 model.

Yamamoto: 301EXX/W32/worn for 1.5 to 2 years

Uemura: 301EXX/W33/worn for 1 year

These are 15oz denim pants with a shallower rise and slimmer silhouette compared to the white tag 301XX...

The denim fabric has a strong unevenness, so you can see dramatic vertical fading.

As you wear them in, they will age beautifully and develop a truly "Vintage" look.

If you ask me what the best part of denim is, I would definitely say fading.

You can fully enjoy the aging of both 407EXX and 301EXX.

The appearance will vary depending on the frequency of wear, number of washes, and size worn, so I hope you will grow your own unique jacket and pair of pants.
