We will be holding a preview for this collection
on September 23rd (Saturday) and 24th (Sunday)
at JELADO WEST.
『sprout』
Our CEO, Goto, who celebrated his 20th anniversary in business on September 6, 2023,
had his origins in "sprout."
The vintage clothing store "Sprout," which could be called the predecessor of JELADO,
opened in Koenji.
Then, in June 2005,
"JELADO" was born in the same location where the FLAGSHIP STORE is now,
and has accumulated 18 years of history.
Goto named the vintage clothing store Sprout
with the hope that "I would grow throughout my life
like a sprouting young tree, and I put my heart into naming the store 'Sprout.'"
The theme of JELADO's 2024SS Collection is
『Sprout』.
This year marks our 20th anniversary,
and with a feeling of returning to our origins,
we will be re-releasing the Sprout Collection.
This collection will feature
American clothing inspired by vintage items
sourced from America.
I myself went on buying trips to America
when Sprout was in Koenji, working at a vintage clothing store back then.
At that time, America was a place where...
"If you go to America, you'll find something,"
meaning it was an era when many items that are now highly prized could be found.
I went to the Rose Bowl filled with excitement and anticipation.
The 2024SS Collection is inspired by vintage items from that era...
Please pick up and try on the items at the preview.
Our CEO, Goto,
and Suzuki-san, the designer of The 2 Monkeys,
will also be at the WEST store for these two days,
so please come visit us.
※The preview is not only for regular customers,
but also an event we want to show to customers who say,
"This is my first time here,"
