What is Bingo Kasuri?

What is Bingo Kasuri?It is one of the three major kasuri fabrics in Japan, alongside Iyo kasuri and Kurume kasuri.Hiroshima prefectureIt is a traditional craft woven in Fuchu and Fukuyama cities.

Fukuyama has been aMizuno Katsunari, the lord of Fukuyama, encouraged cotton cultivation,Cotton cultivation was thriving in this area. It is said that the origin of Bingo Kasuri was the adoption of silk weaving techniques to make effective use of this abundant resource. The fabric was originally used as work clothes for farming.

Nowadays, the number of craftsmen involved in production is decreasing, and due to the complex process required, it has become an extremely rare fabric.

This Bingo Kasuri is indigo dyed, and was originally a fabric for work wear, so it is perfect for American casual items. Since it is indigo dyed, you can enjoy the changes that occur over time.

What is JELADO's classic "Vincent Shirt"?

The "Vincent shirt" refers to a shirt with a distinctive collar shape that JELADO continues to make as a standard item.

This distinctive collar is called the "Italian collar."It was made by a brand called "SIR GUY" that existed in the 1950s.

The "Vincent Shirt" was named after Gene Vincent, a rock and roll icon of the 50s who was a fan of Italian collar shirts.

The Vincent shirt has a slightly bad boy vibe that is originally from the 50s style, but with this fabric it can be styled with a more relaxed feel that is characteristic of traditional textiles.
