Today we'd like to introduce VAUDEVILLE from The 2 Monkeys.

 

A small amount of this product arrived recently, and although some sizes are missing, it is available in abundance.

We have all sizes available.

Available in black and oak brown.

The black version has a brown core that ages beautifully,

Oak brown has a deep shaded color,

You can enjoy the changes that occur over time as the black dye used for finishing fades.

Vaudeville was a form of theatre that was popular entertainment in America before the advent of film.

During the period from 1880 to 1920 when vaudeville was all the rage, there were numerous vaudeville theaters in big cities such as New York.

It was very lively.

The content is also very varied, including singing, dancing, comedy, magic tricks and more.

Laurel and Hardy, the Marx Brothers,

Many of the early silent film stars had vaudeville roots.

They traveled from theater to theater.

The 2 Monkeys “VAUDEVILLE” is a boot created with the image of vaudeville actors who were also traveling performers.

(This is not a reproduction of any particular vintage boots.)

 

Inspired by American and French boots from around 1910.

High toes, also known as high toes or bulldog toes,

The upper and lower parts are sewn together to create a waist leather.

These are capped toe boots with an open lacing.

The original wooden last has a slightly oblique toe.

Small cap, large waistband, low length,

By combining small heels, we have created a look that is typical of boots from that era.

By combining two different manufacturing methods, the waist is tightly cinched,

We have reproduced the elegant appearance of the boots of that time.

Imagine actors who are used to showing off,

The toe has a unique shape with a line.

 

 

The leather is horsehide (horse front), which is smooth but retains the natural skin.

Since the leather is not very decorative,

As you wear them, marks and scratches may appear,

All of these features make this a leather that allows you to fully enjoy the characteristics of horse leather.

The soft leather fits perfectly to your feet.

Like the “SPORTIF”, this is an incredibly lightweight boot.

 

I coordinated it with a French work blouse from The 2 Monkeys, also from VAUDEVILLE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Both colors are easy to match and versatile, so they will definitely go great with the items you already own.

These are JELADO's original socks, long boot socks type.
These jacquard-knit socks are made from cotton, acrylic, nylon, and polyurethane, and feature a native American pattern that makes them stand out.
It fits well and is made of soft fabric, making it easy to wear.

These socks look stylish even when you take your shoes off.
