With the extreme heat continuing for days, we've seen an increase in customers coming in search of printed T-shirts.

So, today we'll be introducing the printed T-shirt that just arrived the other day, the Strong Gum Tee.

Strong Gum Tee【AB12230】

The print is a faithful reproduction of a logo print from a chewing gum manufacturer that existed in Detroit in the 1920s.

It is available in two colors: black print on a vanilla (ecru) base body, and green print on a salt & pepper (gray) base body. It reads "Strong Gum" and "Tooth Exercise Gum."

JELADO's printed T-shirts usually feature water-based discharge prints only on white-based bodies such as off-white or ecru, but this time we also applied a green discharge print to the gray body. It will gradually blur and fade with wear and washing.

The salt & pepper features grape-colored fabric on the sleeves and neck, creating a color scheme reminiscent of old American chewing gum (grape mint flavor?).

The body uses JELADO's standard round-body fabric knitted on a sinker knitting machine in Wakayama Prefecture. Round-body fabric, which is knitted as one complete piece, must be knitted individually for each size, making it difficult to expand the size range or produce larger sizes. However, with the cooperation of our knitters, we have successfully developed a wide range of sizes from 38 to 46 (M to XXL).

It is knitted with 14-count open-end yarn, resulting in a dry texture and moderate thickness. While not heavy-weight, it has a considerably firm fabric feel. The neck is binder-bound to resist stretching, maintaining a comfortable fit even after extended wear.
