With the scorching heat continuing day after day, more and more customers are coming to the store looking for printed T-shirts.

So today, I'd like to introduce you to the Strong Gum Tee, a printed T-shirt that arrived in stock the other day.

Strong Gum Tee [AB12230]

The print is a faithful reproduction of the logo of a chewing gum manufacturer that existed in Detroit in the 1920s.

The color is vanilla (unbleached) with black print, and salt & pepper (gray) with green print. It says "Strong Gum" and "Tooth Exercise Gum".

JELADO's printed T-shirts are usually printed with a water-based dye-sublimation print on white bodies such as off-white or ecru, but this time we applied a green dye-sublimation print to the gray body as well. The color will fade and wear away with wear and washing.

The Salt & Pepper version features grape-colored fabric on the sleeves and neck, a color scheme reminiscent of old American chewing gum (grape mint flavor?).

The body is a JELADO standard,The round body is knitted on a sinker knitting machine in Wakayama Prefecture. The round body is knitted in one piece, so it has to be knitted for each size, which makes it difficult to increase the size range or make larger sizes. However, with the cooperation of the knitters, we have succeeded in offering a wide range of sizes from 38 to 46 (M to XXL).

Using No. 14 air-spun yarn, it is knitted into a body with a dry texture and moderate fleshiness. It is not heavyweight, but the fabric is quite firm. The neck part is made with a binder, so it does not stretch easily and maintains a comfortable fit even when worn for a long time.
