It's President Goto's birthday.

Happy birthday.

 

He's four years older than me, so I think he's 47. (That's right, isn't it, President?)

 

The average age of JELADO staff, except for Akahori-san at the Ebisu store, is actually quite old, to the point where they could all be called "old men" (lol).

 

Among them, President Goto is always active, not only in his daily work but also in training...

I want to emulate his activeness.

 

Once again, happy birthday.

 

Now, let's introduce the products.

First up is this.

The 2 Monkeys Doggerland Pants【TM83327】

 

These Doggerland Pants, which were reserved by many people at the 2023 AW preview (some customers even bought two colors!), and which I also reserved, have a unique atmosphere and silhouette.

 

They have a rounded, balloon-like silhouette, with a loose fit from the waist to just above the knees, and then gradually narrowing from the knees to the hem while maintaining a moderate width.

This shape is the key for me.

 

Also, the length is a bit short.

Therefore, I won't introduce this today (I'll introduce it another day), but...

The 2 Monkeys VAUDEVILLE【TM83933】

I recommend combining it with this.

They go together incredibly well.

 

Let's go back to the pants.

On the front...

 

 

 

The pleats add a touch of elegance to the wide silhouette.

So, I think it looks good whether you wear your shirt untucked or tucked in.

(With these pants, I personally recommend tucking it in.)

 

As for the back,

 

 

Just by looking at this image, you can see the vintage details...

The cinch buckle and the V-split detail are irresistible for me, a vintage clothing lover.

 

You can adjust it with the buckle on the back, or you can use suspenders as it has suspender buttons.

It's up to your mood at the time.

 

Also, the moleskin fabric feels incredibly good.

It's different from the feel of denim, so it's recommended for those who don't like denim.

 

And since today's introduction is about a setup, I'll also introduce this made of the same material.

The 2 Monkeys Doggerland Vest【TM83526】

 

This is a collarless, sleeveless moleskin double-breasted vest.

This style is called a "fisherman's jacket," and there are records of fishermen wearing similar items to this Doggerland Vest.

 

In the image, the left side is layered on top, but it's also possible to have the right side on top.

The double-breasted style is great!

 

And actually,

this vest has pockets.

 

The pocket openings are placed along the seams from both sides to the hem.

So, they are not visible from the front.

 

If pockets were placed on the visible part of the front, they would look like part of the design, so by making them invisible, it results in a simple double-breasted vest.

 

For the inner layer of this vest, a shirt is definitely recommended.

 

Here's a styling with a shirt as the inner layer, paired with Vaudeville.

 

 

This exquisite balance is simply irresistible.

unlike the White and Black Tags, the lower ounce Blue Tag

will definitely show a different kind of aging.

The base fabric aims to reproduce the thick yet soft texture

of vintage flannel shirts from before the 1950s. To achieve this,

we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts, and similar to Lee workwear,

had a testing institution meticulously analyze:

 

・Staple length

・Twist coefficient

・Yarn count

・Number of threads per inch

 

Based on this analysis, we developed a new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses

sulfur dyes. While there is less demand for sulfur dyeing in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wear and

the fluffy "fabric feel" and "skin touch,"

as if wrapped in a towel, are excellent and highly recommended.

 

This product receives many inquiries from customers

concerned about sizing. We would appreciate it if you could consult us in-store

rather than by phone (as we may not be able to respond during customer visits, etc.).
