The long-awaited item has arrived!

The Artisan Shirts were previously released in 65% cotton/35% linen,

but this time they are 100% linen.

 

And herringbone...

I don't think there are many herringbone linen items,

so I was curious about the finish, but

since it's a herringbone fabric, it has a good thickness,

making it a piece I want to wear as a top in autumn and as an inner layer in winter.

 

It has a luxurious feel and is wrinkle-resistant...

These Artisan Shirts are made from a herringbone linen material with such characteristics.

This time, I'll also be touching on some vintage stories, so

it might be a bit long, but please take a look.

 

Now available for pre-order,

the Age of Longing 407EXX is based on

what I'm sure you all know as the 40s LEVI'S 506XX.

The history of the 1st model is long, and according to the materials I have,

the 506XX already existed in 1904, making it a model that has been around for 120 years, based on these materials.

 

Even for this 506XX, on July 1, 1937, 'Chris Lucia' proposed

the red tab, which is now taken for granted, and it was attached for the first time.

 

Then time passed, and World War II came...

 

Due to wartime material controls, details had to be changed during this period,

and LEVI'S also faced this issue.

 

The previous five-button design was changed to four buttons,

and the company-named buttons were replaced with laurel wreath buttons.

The model with the breast pocket flap removed is

『LEVI'S S506XX』

This is the popular "War Model" (Taisen Model) as it's commonly known,

and JELADO offers it as a leather jacket

 

 

released under the name "44Leather Jacket."

※I will omit detailed information this time.

 

After the war, with material controls lifted,

LEVI'S was about to revert to its original details, but

a new problem arose.

 

There was a large quantity of fabric used for the war model

in the factory.

Although cost might have been a factor,

they entered a transitional period where this fabric was used up instead of discarded,

before transitioning to new denim.

 

JELADO's Age of Longing 407EXX

focuses on LEVI'S 506XX from this transitional period,

 

 

we've adopted a denim with a strong blackish hue.

It's a slubby fabric with a strong uneven texture.

 

 

Through repeated wear, it will age beautifully,

developing random vertical fading like falling rain.

 

The 15oz thickness and dark hue

of the 1st type 407EXX features include:

 

・Single pocket on the left side only

・Red tab is a single-sided tab

 

・Narrow waistband (compared to 406XX)

・Cinch back buckle

・15 oz

 

On the back of the waistband, there is a cinch buckle,

which is used for size adjustment.

 

This popular product is finally available for pre-order,

so please come to the store to try it on and confirm the fit before placing your reservation.
