It's a jacket-style blouse

made from natural Linen,

a material whose price has risen considerably.

 

The reason I say it like that is because

for a jacket, the buttonholes are horizontal,

but for this item, they are vertical,

like a shirt, not a jacket.

Therefore, "shirt" is a more accurate description

than "jacket."

The old 41Khaki was discontinued

after its last arrival in May 2023.

 

To release a new chino pant to replace it,

we cut up and analyzed a highly sought-after vintage 41Khaki

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep-south cotton,

we reproduced the natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,

this 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

The 41Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes,

is finished to preserve the atmosphere and texture of the original.

 

The ultimate chino pants, with attention to detail in

raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

"41Khaki."

 

The previous arrival sold out incredibly quickly,

In December, a small amount of free stock arrived,

Age of Longing 407EXX.

 

As you may know, the LAST RESORT "Black Tag" is

the second series of Last Resort, following

the "White Tag" which was released earlier and is the original of Last Resort.

 

Compared to the White Tag, the Black Tag denim is not as blue,

but has a stronger black hue.

 

JELADO categorizes the 1947 model into early and late versions,

and the White Tag, as a denim fabric with a strong blue tint,

is positioned as the late 1947 model. The 501XX of this era is known as

 

"The greatest masterpiece in 501XX history."

 

If you want to know why it's called that, please come to

JELADO WEST (laughs).

 

The White Tag is a denim fabric that focuses on XX fabric from the 50s.

 

So what about the "Black Tag" with its strong black hue??

 

World War II ended in 1945,

and during the war, Levi's factories were producing

everyone's favorite "war models."

 

After the war, even though material controls were lifted,

it took a considerable amount of time for the details to return to their original form.

 

The reason is that a lot of the denim fabric, auxiliary materials, etc.,

that were used for the war models remained.

 

LEVI'S denim fabrics also have No.1 denim to No.3 denim

(I only know up to No.3, but if there's a No.4 or something, please let me know).

This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No.2 is a cheaper version of No.1 denim,

and No.3 is a cheaper version of No.2 denim.

The denim fabric used for the war model was probably

No.2 or No.3 denim, wasn't it?

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what JELADO calls the "White Tag."

The Black Tag denim represents the transitional period

between the end of the war and the change in denim fabric.

 

The ounce count is 15 oz,

and we use strongly uneven yarn,

so after repeated wear and aging,

it develops vertical fading that resembles falling rain.

 

The real pleasure of denim, above all,

is "fading."

Fading is essential for "wearing" denim,

and it will be completely different depending on the person,

so I believe this enjoyment is the greatest charm of denim.
