The 2 Monkeys Highlander Vest【TM11552】

This vest was inspired by the sleeveless vests that were popular in Western Europe in the mid-18th century. (Before then, garments called "vests" had sleeves.)

The early sleeveless vests were quite long.

People would wear a belt over the vest and hang pouches from it.

To recreate this 18th-century vest style, we added belt loops above the waist and threaded a drawstring made of the same fabric through them.

The fabric is a cotton-linen blend with woven stripes, and the vest is unlined and lightweight, perfect for casually throwing on in spring and summer.

In addition to this caramel color,

It also comes in this walnut color, for a total of two color options.

The Rebel Jacket is

a classic riders jacket that JELADO has offered for many years.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

we removed the epaulets.

Furthermore, instead of quilting,

we used cupro to make it easier to put on and take off,

creating a jacket that prioritizes wearability.

Made from 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish, it offers a softness not found in 100% pigment-dyed leather, and as it's "tea-core leather,"

you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.

There's one more item available for pre-order.

This is another very popular item,

which sold out quickly last time,

with sizes disappearing in a flash.

【Pre-order Item, Expected Arrival June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,

adopted in 1947.

※ What is herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" and "bone"

The name comes from the pattern resembling the bones of a herring when it is splayed open.

Baker pants were worn on the battlefield,

but also during administrative work.

It is also said that the name "Baker Pants" came from the fact that bakers wore them.

Since it's herringbone twill fabric,

it's thick and durable.

Also, since it's 100% cotton, you can enjoy the aging process with repeated wear.

And this item has been available for pre-order for a while now,

and it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.

【Pre-order Item, Expected Arrival Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

USMC M44 Monkey Pants are pants issued to the Marine Corps, and are a popular item in the vintage industry, affectionately known as "Monkey Pants."

The origin of their name is as follows:

The large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted for carrying "ponchos,"

and the flaps were included to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets resemble a monkey's buttocks, which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."

The manufacturing period for the M44 was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Furthermore, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was small, so they command considerably high prices in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them include:

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 – March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 – September 7, 1945).

They were also widely worn during the Korean War (June 25, 1950 – July 27, 1953) after World War II.

The JELADO Monkey Pants feature herringbone fabric.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are doughnut buttons, which adds to the vintage feel.

You can enjoy the aging process by wearing them thoroughly.

It pairs well with native pattern half-length coats,

leather jackets... and even

coveralls, among others.

I also recommend pairing it with a chambray shirt.
