Today, we'd like to introduce a new item released by The 2 Monkeys, something we've never had before.
The 2 Monkeys Classic Henley Shirt【TM12244】
The Classic Henley T-shirt has arrived.
The Classic Henley Shirt was inspired by a repaired vintage Henley neck undershirt from the 1920s-30s.
The buttons on that vintage item were mismatched in color, as if replaced, and we incorporated that as well, using three different colored buttons.
The "Henley" in Classic Henley Shirt does not refer to the personal name "Henry", but to "Henley" from the town of "Henley-on-Thames", located about 60 km west of London.
It seems that the knit, collarless polo-style short-sleeved T-shirt worn by rowers since the end of the 19th century at the Royal Regatta, a rowing competition held there since 1839, came to be called a "Henley shirt."
The fabric is comfortable to wear, making it a convenient item to own.

・Hemming of "JELADO products purchased from a dealer" that you wear will be subject to a fee.
